The international jury of the 22nd ADI Compasso d'Oro Award has assigned the Compasso d'Oro to the Hope lamp designed by Francisco Gomez Paz and Paolo Rizzatto.
The award ceremony took place on 12 July at the Pelanda (home of the MACRO, the Contemporary Art Museum of Rome) in Testaccio, Rome, where all the nominated products are exhibited from 30 May till 25 September 2011.
This is the fifth Compasso d'Oro awarded to Luceplan during the course of the company's three decades of activity, confirmation of the fact that for Luceplan design, first of all, means innovation and functional quality, while aspects of form and appearance are the results of that project.
At the prize ceremony for the 22nd Compasso d'Oro, the Sky lamp designed by Alfredo Häberli received an Honorable Mention.
