The new Shopping Centre in Monza, near Milan, originates from an innovative project to reduce to the minimum the environmental impact of the structure. In fact the Centre is almost completely underground and is covered by a big park crossed by a cycle-lane. A better insulation of the structure helped reducing the impact on the surrounding scenery and the energy consumption of the building. For the illumination of the park they have used energy saving fittings such as the zero consumption solar version of Sky equipped with solar cells.
